Celebrity Karting Challenge
Every year at the Autosports Show professional racing drivers and celebrities have teamed up to win this karting challenge and simultaneously raise funds for charity.
Race2Recovery June Update
THE WHOLE team are thrilled to announce that Land Rover have joined the Race2Recovery endeavour to complete the 2013 Dakar Rally. With such an iconic global brand joining our existing sponsors the team are really getting into shape for an exciting 8 months of preparation, training and racing with Land Rover developing a training package for the race team later this year, helping with parts and expertise.
Tuareg Rally 2012
When the Race2Recovery team competed in Morocco in March 2012 it was their first international test and for many of the team members it was their first desert race too. For the wounded team members this was also going to be their first time back in the desert since they were injured.
Race2Recovery April Update
Since the team returned from the Tuareg we have been horribly quiet on the updates and this has mainly been down to the team returning to their normal day jobs as everyone is a volunteer amazingly. Sponsorship developments continue apace and we are very lucky to have been so warmly welcomed by a huge number of companies for which we are extremely grateful.

Dave Banner and the Association of Land Rover Clubs held their Nationals weekend at Belvoir Castle in early June and raised more than a staggering £3,500 for the Race2Recovery Charity where the proceeds go to Tedworth House and Help for Heroes. One of the highlights of the auction held on the Saturday night was a limited edition print of Race2Recovery by Louise Limb (see pic).
Pageant of Power
The Cholmondeley Castle Pageant of Power was a roaring success for the Race2Recovery team. The show encapsulates the ethos of speed and power… something the Qt Wildcats do extremely well. Whilst the merchandise from FX Motorsport got its first run out, Tom and Barney were wooing the crowds with tales of daring do.
Autosports Show 2012
When the Race2Recovery team were invvited to attend the 2012 Autosports Show in Birmingham they leapt at the chance and having been invited to demonstrate the Qt Wildcat in the live action arena Tom and Dave took her for a spin whilst Tony was interviewed about the project. The team raised over £15,000 in just 4 days and were thrilled by the reaction from the public who have really embraced the ethos, courage and determination of the team.
Dawn till Dusk Cycle Challenge
Neil Waterman completed an arduous 234 mile cycle challenge from Little Compton, Gloucestershire to HMS Victory, Portsmouth and back in an incredible 18 hours to raise money for the Race2Recovery Charity and Wings for Life. So far he has raised in excess of £300 with more still to come in. An incredible man and an incredible challenge.
