Thank you Lord Marsh for another wonderful Goodwood Festival of Speed!
Race2Recovery was kindly invited to the racing highlight of the year, the Festival of Speed. Months of hard work, blood, sweat (and maybe some tears?) were pushed into creating this years FoS, resulting in a succes! With the majority of our team present and a neat set-up near the start of the Forest Rally stage, we were able to have a fast paced weekend.
We lost count on how many times we marked our name in the history books, as last weekend we made another one! Race2Recovery was the first team to have a disabled driver and co-driver (both British Military veterans) on the Festival of Speed’s Forest Rally Stage! With a completely hand-controlled car they raced trough the stage and left their footprint (or should I say, wheel print) behind.
As always, we were supported by many sponsors who made sure we were ready to rock on the Hillclimb and Forest Rally Stage. A massive ‘THANK YOU’ to all of them. We are able to go ‘beyond injury’ and show the public how to achieve the extraordinary as a result of their continuous support!
